Activities and Programs

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) Culture Workgroup offers a variety of programs to bolster camaraderie and mutual support among employees. These include casual Coffee Chit-Chats for relaxed conversation, a calendar of social committee events for planned group activities, a Teams Watercooler channel for informal online interaction, and a Culture Kudos channel on Teams to publicly celebrate colleague accomplishments and contributions. Collectively, these initiatives support a vibrant and connected workplace culture within OIT.

Coffee Chit-chats

Periodic Zoom social gatherings are hosted by the OIT Social Committee to provide staff a reason to gather with prompts and ice-breakers to start conversations and foster connections.

Water Cooler

A Microsoft Teams channel has been established to help OIT staff connect in a casual and social way and find others in the organization with similar interests or hobbies.
